It has been completely redesigned with a more modern and easier to navigate interface, improved accessibility, mobile responsiveness, progress tracking, and streamlined grading. The Summer Institute is a great opportunity to learn more and transition your course to Ultra Course View with the support of the eLearning &amp; Instructional Support team.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HOjMztL0KjU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Overview<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>There are two opportunities to participate in this year&#8217;s Summer Institute with one small cohort in each.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>July 17-21 and 24-28<\/li>\n<li>August 14-18 and 21-25<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each cohort will participate in a 2-week hybrid seminar. You will learn how to use Ultra Course View to create an engaging and user-friendly experience for your students. By the end of the 2 weeks, you should have your course well on its way to being converted to run in Ultra.<\/p>\n<p>Please note there will be <strong>1-2\u00a0synchronous\u00a0seminar meetings each week<\/strong>, plus individual consultations with the eLIS staff.<\/p>\n<p>Space is limited so sign up soon. All faculty &#8211; core and adjunct &#8211; may apply. Your course may be in any format\/modality (online, on-campus, hybrid, hyflex, synchronous, asynchronous, etc.) Priority will be given to faculty using myLesley significantly to teach their courses.<\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Faculty Expectations<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>Faculty are expected to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend and complete the Summer Institute course.<\/li>\n<li>Develop or make significant progress toward developing their course in the Ultra Course View.<\/li>\n<li>Teach a course in Ultra Course View during the 2023-2024 academic year.<\/li>\n<li>Share and explain their experiences in Ultra with colleagues, focusing on the advantages of Ultra Course View.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Faculty who successfully convert and teach their course in Ultra will be awarded a $300 stipend and a printable certificate of completion.<\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Application<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>Applications are due by <strong>Sunday, May 7, 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/aBim8K5EQX\"><strong>Apply Now<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Login using your Lesley credentials to access the application form.<\/p>\n<p>Email\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:elis@lesley.edu\">elis@lesley.edu<\/a>\u00a0with any questions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This year\u2019s Summer Academic Technology Institute will focus on transitioning your course to Blackboard Ultra Course View.
