GITS agent, NeoLuddite, has broken all the links to course wikis in myLesley. Look\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b>Error: Broken Course Link: Item does not exist in the system. The specified object was not found.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Agent L: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What does he hope to accomplish? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ben:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> NeoLuddite thinks technology is going to ruin education. By corrupting links to the wikis, \u00a0he hopes to stop students from collaborating online. The wiki links can be fixed. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ben:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> How? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Agent L:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It\u2019s easy, Ben. The wiki is still there with all the students\u2019 work. We just need to<br \/>\nrecreate the link to allow them to find it again. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ben:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> How do we do that?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Agent L:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Simple. Let\u2019s go into a course and I\u2019ll show you. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">First, let\u2019s delete the bad link. Click on the small gray arrow at the end of the wiki title and select <\/span><b>Delete<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the menu. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2015\/11\/deletelink.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2407 size-full alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2015\/11\/coursewikilink.png\" alt=\"course wiki link\" width=\"137\" height=\"39\" \/>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2406 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2015\/11\/deletelink.png\" alt=\"deletelink\" width=\"128\" height=\"194\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Remember, this is only deleting the link, not the wiki.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, we can recreate the link. go to the <\/span><b>Tools<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> menu and select <\/span><b>Wikis<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2015\/11\/Toolsmenu.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2408\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2015\/11\/Toolsmenu.png\" alt=\"Tools menu\" width=\"362\" height=\"159\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2015\/11\/Toolsmenu.png 362w, https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2015\/11\/Toolsmenu-300x132.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 362px) 100vw, 362px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b>Link to Wiki<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to choose to create a link to an existing wiki and select the name of the wiki from the list. Then click <\/span><b>Next<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2015\/11\/selectwiki.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2409\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2015\/11\/selectwiki.png\" alt=\"select wiki link\" width=\"396\" height=\"182\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add a description or instructions for you students and click <\/span><b>Submit<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. That\u2019s all there is to it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ben:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It\u2019s working. I can access the wiki and see everyone\u2019s contributions. It\u2019s all there. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Agent L:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Of course. NeoLuddite can\u2019t get the best of us.
