If you already have a video in your YouTube channel that you\u2019d like to quickly insert in your course, you can use Video Everywhere for that too!<\/p>\n<p>Got a computer, a webcam, a Google account, and a YouTube Channel? You\u2019re good to go!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Getting Started<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen you choose to add an item to your course, you\u2019ll find the \u201c<strong>Video Everywhere<\/strong>\u201d icon in the Content Editor. It looks like a small webcam:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2014\/01\/video_everywhere_icon.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1977 alignnone\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"video_everywhere_icon\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2014\/01\/video_everywhere_icon.png\" width=\"46\" height=\"45\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can find the icon located in the lower left-hand corner of the content editor:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2014\/01\/VE_Location.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1981\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"VE_Location\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2014\/01\/VE_Location.png\" width=\"386\" height=\"83\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2014\/01\/VE_Location.png 386w, https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2014\/01\/VE_Location-300x64.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 386px) 100vw, 386px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When the \u201cRecord\u201d window opens, just sign into your Google\/YouTube account (you\u2019ll need to create a Google account if you don\u2019t have one already and you\u2019ll need a YouTube channel if you don\u2019t have one yet.).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2014\/01\/step3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1982\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"step3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2014\/01\/step3.png\" width=\"429\" height=\"113\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2014\/01\/step3.png 596w, https:\/\/www.lesleyelis.com\/elisblog\/files\/2014\/01\/step3-300x78.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 429px) 100vw, 429px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note that the default is the Record screen but you can choose the Browse tab to insert a video you already have in your YouTube channel.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once you sign in, you\u2019ll be walked through the process to easily <strong>Record<\/strong>, <strong>Upload<\/strong> and <strong>Insert<\/strong> your video right into your course. Just grant access when asked along the way.<\/p>\n<p>Once it\u2019s in your YouTube channel, the video will be available to insert in any of your other courses using Video Everywhere\u2019s Browse option from within each course.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s all there is to it!<\/p>\n<p><strong>A word about privacy:<\/strong> Please be aware that any video recorded with Video Everywhere will go directly to your YouTube account and have a default privacy status of \u201cunlisted\u201d.
