MAP (My Assessment Portfolio) is the assessment system Lesley University students use to create electronic portfolios, or ePortfolios, on the “Chalk and Wire” website. Students in specific degree programs within the Graduate School of Education, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and Lesley College are required to complete an ePortfolio to document their work and demonstrate their learning through their program of study. Each program requires specific key assignments to be submitted for assessment. In addition to required portfolios, students may create their own professional and personal portfolios to share with others outside the University. These portfolios are often used during job searches and can provide examples of the student’s best work for prospective employers.
