On this page you will find resources to help you in using the MAP ePortfolio system to assess student work.

Students in specific degree programs within the Graduate School of Education, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and Lesley College are required to complete an ePortfolio to document their work and demonstrate their learning through their program of study.  Each academic program has established the required specific key assignments to be submitted for assessment.

MAP (My Assessment Portfolio) is the assessment system Lesley University students use to create electronic portfolios, or ePortfolios, using the online program offered by Chalk and Wire (chalkandwire.com/lesley). In addition to the portfolios required by their program of study, students may create their own professional and personal portfolios to share with others outside the University. These portfolios are often used during job searches and can provide examples of the student’s best work for prospective employers.
The Dean’s office for your school will inform you if any students in your course are participating in MAP for assessment of key assignments.

Logging In
When your MAP account was created a welcome letter was sent to your lesley.edu email address. This welcome letter contains your MAP username and password, which, for security purposes, is not the same as the password you currently use for other Lesley applications (email, myLesley). When you log into your Chalk and Wire MAP account for the first time, we recommend that you change the password to one of your choosing.

Log into Chalk and Wire at http://www.chalkandwire.com/lesley and enter your username and password.
